I built OpenTuner because I wanted a simple tuner without heavy ads or paywalls for basic functionality.

What permission does OpenTuner need?
Microphone access only.
Why microphone access?
To detect your instrument's pitch in real time for tuning.
Do you store recordings or personal data?
No. Audio and user data are not recorded, stored, or transmitted.
OpenTuner requests microphone access only to provide tuning functionality.
Microphone audio is processed on your device in real time and is not recorded, stored, or sent to servers.
OpenTuner does not include third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
OpenTuner does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
